Job Summary
Retail Store Manager In Training at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) in Peoria, AZ. Drives store operations at a GCNA retail store location, directly leading the Assistant Store Manager, Production Team, and Donation Attendants. Key duties include people leadership, store operations planning, financial management, inventory control, donation processing, customer service, and training and development of Team Members. Collaborates with the Retail District Manager to execute strategic plans to increase donations and operating income, monitors inventory and payroll/operating costs to budget, ensures a clean and well-branded store, promotes the Goodwill mission in the community, maintains regular in-person attendance, and supports multi-store transfers as needed. Requires reliable transportation and provides eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package. Eligible for a monthly performance bonus after training and a suite of health, dental, vision, life, and retirement benefits. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift
- One-year customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid drivers’ license and clean MVR
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently
