Job Summary
Oversee store operations including donations processing, sales performance, budget management, and asset protection. Manage store personnel through hiring, training, and performance evaluations while ensuring compliance with GISVNN policies and CARF standards. Maintain sales floor and building exterior appearance, enforce safety procedures, and handle cash registers and security systems. This role is full-time and exempt, offering medical, dental, vision, and 403(b) benefits. The position is with Goodwill Industries of Sacramento Valley and Northern Nevada, Inc., in a fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and a valid California driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer a BA/BS
- minimum of two years retail supervisory experience
- Prior profit and loss, sales or cost management accountability
- strong interpersonal skills through command of the English language
- high level of integrity and business ethics
- 18 years of age or older
- qualitative and quantitative performance standards as established by the company
- pass drug screening and criminal background check
- valid California driver's license and insurable driving record
- not present a direct threat of safety and health to self, others or property
- No record or disclosure of criminal conviction that indicates a tendency toward theft, violence, dishonesty, deceit, drug use, moral turpitude or predatory behavior
- immediately inform Supervisor of any arrests and/or convictions that occur while employed at Goodwill
- proof of identification and eligibility to work in the United States
- Able to perform the duties of the job description with or without reasonable accommodation
- subject to transfer to other locations within the GISVNN system
