Job Summary
Lead daily store operations by opening and closing shifts, managing cash drawers, and ensuring asset protection through inventory control and loan security. Coach and develop pawnbrokers, recruit top talent, and maximize financial goals by analyzing statements and driving profitability. Facilitate a customer-centric environment by addressing issues rapidly, promoting business through marketing tools, and maintaining FirstCash standards across merchandising and systems. Work 45+ hours weekly across multiple locations with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of managerial experience
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time (in accordance with federal, state, local law) some of which include, but are not limited to, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule based on business needs, including weekends and holidays
- Store Managers will work 45+ hours a week
- Computer literate and able to operate Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems and common office machines
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Analytical skills
- Cash handling experience is required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense
- Must be willing and able to assist a customer on the exterior of the building (within our parking lots) or to retrieve products stored in exterior storage buildings or other areas
