Job Summary
Manage and oversee all aspects of business operations to maximize sales and profitability, delegating store activities to ensure smooth daily execution. Lead, train, and develop store associates to foster a culture of growth while providing every customer with a positive and enjoyable shopping experience. Safeguard company assets, build community relationships through outreach and partnerships, and ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Implement operational and merchandising direction communicated from corporate headquarters. This full-time role at Family Dollar requires regular lifting up to 40 lbs, frequent standing and walking, and the ability to handle repetitive physical tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to focus on results and build strong relationships with team members
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to regularly lift, up to 40 lbs. (occasionally 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height
- Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Retail management experience
