Job Summary
Lead day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, team coordination, floor set updates, and maintaining high standards of store presentation. Ensure strong operational discipline through accurate inventory management, shipment coordination, vendor oversight, and budget awareness. Build and enforce simple SOPs to support consistent store execution. Track sales and performance metrics to drive conversion and average transaction value. Recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performing team with ongoing coaching and clear development paths. Deliver an elevated customer experience aligned with Cozey's brand promise. This role reports to the Director of Retail Strategy & Operations, blending people management with operational excellence in our new permanent New York flagship location.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in a retail store leadership role with strong operational, team building, and customer service experience
- A builder and doer—you love making systems better, solving problems, and rolling up your sleeves to get it done
- Obsessed with organization, structure, and keeping operations humming
- Comfortable with data and dashboards—you use numbers to coach, plan, and improve
- A natural communicator and motivator, equally skilled at training, listening, and energizing a team
- Passionate about interior design, retail innovation, and hospitality
