Job Summary
Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and rapidly addressing issues. Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards while recruiting top talent through prescribed channels. Opens and closes the store, counting cash drawers and merchandise to ensure asset protection and secure customer loans. Administer processes for inventory, loan management, merchandising, and enterprise-level reporting to maximize financial goals. Evaluate store financial statements to drive profitability and ensure operating standards exceed company requirements. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity. Communicate clearly with employees to align them with store mission and profit objectives. Remain up-to-date on product knowledge and complete assigned self-development tasks. Work 45+ hours a week in a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of management and customer service experience
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule based on business needs, including weekends and holidays
- Store Managers will work 45+ hours a week
- Computer literate and able to operate Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems and common office machines
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Analytical skills
- Cash handling experience is required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense
- Must be able to work in multiple locations, as business needs dictate
