Job Summary
Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer-service experience sought to oversee daily store operations, lead and develop staff, recruit top talent, and drive profitability. Responsibilities include implementing a customer-centric environment, training Pawnbrokers to FirstCash standards, opening/closing the store, ensuring asset protection, managing inventory and loan processes, analyzing financial statements to meet goals, and adapting procedures to company standards. The role involves promoting the business using internal/external marketing tools, handling a wide range of merchandise (including jewelry, firearms in FFL locations), and achieving store performance targets. Requires supervision ability, POS proficiency, cash handling, flexibility for a retail schedule including weekends/holidays, and willingness to work in multiple locations. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified
- Store Managers will work 45+ hours a week
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time (standing, walking, etc.)
- Should be able to work in multiple locations, as business needs dictate
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems
- Cash handling experience is required
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense
