Job Summary
Store Manager Trainee to support the day-to-day store operations and lead in partnership with the Store Manager. Responsibilities include engaging customers to provide a customer-centric environment, training and supervising staff, recruiting top talent, opening/closing the store, managing cash drawers and assets, overseeing inventory and loan processes, analyzing financial statements to drive profitability, maintaining adherence to operational standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves working with a variety of merchandise, including jewelry and firearms in FFL locations, with a wage structure that includes hourly pay plus potential commissions and performance bonuses. Qualifications include minimum store-management experience (6+ months), ability to lift up to 50 pounds, flexibility to work 45+ hours per week, cash handling, firearms certification, and high school diploma or equivalent; bilingual applicants are encouraged. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of six (6+) months of Store Management experience
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified
- Cash handling experience is required
- Able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays
- Store Manager Trainee will work 45+ hours a week
