Job Summary
Manage all store operations tasks to maximize sales results while leading a team in driving results and building strong partnerships. Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure policy implementation and individual responsibility fulfillment. Coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions, and pricing with Assistant Store Manager and Merchandising. Review receiving, transfers, debits, returns-to-vendor, and chargeback paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy. Act as Manager on Duty by modeling Burlington SOPs and delivering excellent customer service. Take ownership for multi-million-dollar sales volume, expense budget, and payroll management. Handle personnel issues, recruit and screen associates, and facilitate onboarding and ongoing coaching. Facilitate effective communication among store, district, and regional management teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
- Travel may be required from time to time
