Job Summary
Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of company policies, standards, and initiatives. Partner with Assistant Store Managers on merchandise placement, sales promotions, pricing, receiving, transfers, and inventory paperwork. Act as Manager on Duty by modeling Burlington SOPs and leading by example. Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budgets while handling personnel relations issues and recruiting new staff. Facilitate onboarding, provide ongoing coaching, and oversee payroll budgeting and workforce scheduling. Handle personnel and associate relations issues. Must work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
- Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software
- Travel may be required from time to time
