Job Summary
Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of company policies, standards, and initiatives. Coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions, and pricing with the Assistant Store Manager and Operations team. Act as Manager on Duty by modeling Burlington SOPs, handling personnel relations issues, and overseeing payroll budget management, workforce scheduling, and multi-million-dollar sales volume. Recruit, screen, and hire associates while facilitating onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching. Review receiving, transfers, debits, and returns-to-vendor paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy. Manage a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with occasional travel required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
- Travel may be required from time to time
