Job Summary
Support a culture of high-quality customer service by maintaining operational standards and providing clear communication on updates and changes. Train Associates in service area policies and procedures while demonstrating the ability to plan, prioritize tasks, and provide direction in collaboration with management. Improve the shopping experience by coordinating merchandise movement, ensuring the sales floor is visually appealing, and crafting inspirational displays in high-impact areas. Contribute to sales and trend influence by driving the store's fashion, brand, and value strategy through dynamic feature changes. This full-time role at the West Kelowna HomeSense store requires minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant retail or service industry experience. Candidates must possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong technical knowledge of register operations, and the ability to set up and maintain a warehouse environment. A criminal record check is required for all candidates aged 18 and over.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years relevant experience
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills including verbal, written and active listening
- Exceptional Customer Service skills with ability to identify stated and unstated Customer and Associate inquiries and needs
- Strong technical knowledge of register operations
- The ability to set up and maintain a warehouse environment
- Candidates aged 18 and over
