Job Summary
Engage every customer proactively, recommending the right products and services while maintaining store and print department appearance to company guidelines. Utilize the selling program to promote best solutions, complete freight processes, and scan inventory lows and outs daily. Maintain awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs while developing personal selling skills through Tech, Print, and applicable training. Ensure compliance with company policies and loss prevention efforts. This seasonal entry-level role supports a customer-centric environment aligned with Office Depot's 5C values, focusing on sales brilliance in key Print and Technology areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
- Able to use technology and POS systems to access information and process transactions
- Able to read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation, use training tools, and process inventory
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to build selling relationships with customers and coworkers
- Enjoys interacting with people and working in a customer-facing environment
- Must be able to consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party
