Job Summary
As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, you will engage with customers to create a positive shopping experience and drive sales. Responsibilities include proactively acknowledging and assisting customers, maintaining store appearance according to company guidelines, and supporting loss prevention efforts. Essential functions involve developing selling skills, adhering to merchandising standards, and completing necessary training on technology and print products. Required Qualifications
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
- Able to use technology and POS systems to access information and process transactions
- Able to read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation, use training tools, and process inventory
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to build selling relationships with customers and coworkers
- Enjoys interacting with people and working in a customer-facing environment
