Job Summary
Deliver a memorable guest experience by acting as a personal chef and friendly butcher, providing product recommendations and personalized service. Manage inventory control, replenish stock, and perform stocking duties including lifting up to 50lb, rotating products, and cleaning the store. Oversee daily price changes, process e-commerce orders, and assist customers at the check-out while handling cash registers. Work in an extremely cold environment, pulling racks, processing shipments, and performing monthly inventory in the walk-in freezer. Stand or walk for up to 8-10 hours with frequent movement throughout the store. This role offers $20 an hour plus a monthly performance bonus, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus available. Culinary training and tenure programs are included.
Required Qualifications
- One year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, by showing interest and carefully listening to their needs
- Work with integrity as a TEAM toward a shared vision
- Be determined and deliver superior results with a sense of urgency, time management, and prioritization
- Treat it like you own it –Take ownership and responsibility to be successful
- Acts with respect and values other opinions
- Strong cognitive skills, including problem analyzing
- Fundamental math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to meet seasonal peaks, workloads, and deadlines
- The availability to work a flex schedule, working various hours and shifts, including early mornings, evenings and, weekends/holidays
Desired Qualifications
- High school degree or GED preferred not required
