Job Summary
Oversee daily operations and merchandising for assigned retail areas, ensuring smooth freight flow and exceptional customer experiences under a Team Leader's guidance. Champion customer service through the T.R.E.A.T. model, bridge gaps with corporate support, and promote company-wide initiatives like loyalty programs. Create effective work schedules, support associate training, and manage merchandise presentation while maintaining accurate signage and ticketing. Verify pricing on incoming shipments, handle returns and transfers, and uphold safety standards during opening and closing procedures. Operate cash registers as needed and adhere to all policies. This role serves as a development path for future leadership positions within the $850+ million general merchandise retailer.
Required Qualifications
- 1 or more years professional experience in other retail environments
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Availability to work as needed by the business including nights and weekends
- Should be able to lift 35 lbs on a regular basis
