Job Summary
Sales Merchandiser (Retail Stocker) on a part-time basis responsible for merchandising products on designated routes, maintaining stock and displays to Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country standards, ensuring on-time visits to customer locations, and providing superior customer service. Duties include transporting products between backroom and display floor, filling and rotating stock, operating hand trucks and pallet jacks, maintaining stock and back-room organization, tracking mileage, and adhering to safety, quality, and company procedures. Requires a valid driver’s license, ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to travel up to 10% as needed; weekend and holiday availability may be required. Emphasizes customer service, relationship-building with accounts, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements; describes required training and the physical demands of stocking and merchandising tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1-3 years of general work experience preferred
- Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus
- Customer service experience preferred
- New Hire Orientation
- Company’s Inter-Active Safety Training and other safety training as required
- Annual Alcohol and Drug Free Workplace Training
- May be asked to demonstrate truck driving abilities
