Job Summary
Greet and assist customers while directing and supervising staff on sales, inventory, and cash reconciliation. Monitor sales activities to ensure satisfactory service and quality goods, instruct employees on handling difficult transactions, and enforce safety, health, and security rules. Manage inventory by stock-taking and reordering, examine merchandise for correct pricing and display, and plan budgets to authorize payments and returns. Hire, train, and evaluate personnel in sales or marketing establishments, assigning specific duties as needed. Requires standing and walking for extended periods, bending, lifting loads up to 50 pounds, and pushing carts up to 100 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders
- Must be able to bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat
- Must be able to bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds
- Must be able to push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to use hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation
