Job Summary
Manage the Retail indirect auto finance originations project team by coaching staff, defining vendor requirements, and organizing sprints to deliver production support modifications and new features. Draft development tasks from project backlog stories, analyze feasibility for new products, and execute daily triage for operational tickets to make tradeoff decisions. Create testing plans based on past enhancements and identify opportunities for product improvements. Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage initiatives across the development lifecycle while answering developer questions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years relevant auto finance experience or other lending experience
- Extensive experience in design, development, implementation of product plans, and full product lifecycle methodologies
- Strong knowledge of Product specialty/job area, principles, concepts, and practices
- Demonstrated experience in creating, prioritizing, and recommending epics and features; and conducting competitive research and analysis
- Ability to write reports, correspondence, test plans, and business requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- familiarity with configurable origination systems
- Strong ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Must have reliable transportation
- live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ
- Travel 10-25% - as required
- Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Education - bachelor�s degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or a related field
- Originations experience and operating within a sprint environment or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Agile or SAFe Agile experience
- defi LOS preferred
- Jira and Confluence skills a plus
