Job Summary
Retail Field Service Technician with a focus on training store personnel and lottery reps after SCiQ store installations. Travel to diverse retail locations (gas stations, c-stores, grocery stores, liquor stores, drug stores, mass merchandise, dollar stores) to train managers and clerks on lottery equipment, conduct site surveys and pre-sites, support project rollout, and provide frontline, high-tier support to partners. Responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, Training-the-Trainer sessions, presenting product information, maintaining documentation and system staging for installations, evaluating training program effectiveness, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure technology functions as designed. Requires 1–3 years in retail and/or lottery environments, strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook, willingness to travel up to ~80% and lift 30 lbs. Bilingual skills are a plus; valid driver’s license required. Emphasizes customer-facing training, troubleshooting, and collaboration across Retail Solutions, lottery, and internal customers.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in retail and/or sales
- 1-3 years of lottery experience
- Ability to multi-task while ensuring accuracy and considering the end-user
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and web browsers
- A can-do attitude combined with strong curiosity and a passion for learning
- Good communication skills, bilingual a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to travel whether by air, vehicle, or other forms of transportation
- Must be able to sit, stand, sit more than 80% of the time
- Ability to travel to customer locations 80% of the time
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Ability to compile and analyze statistical information
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies
