Job Summary
Retail Shop Manager-on-Duty at Equinox Sport Club Boston directs and motivates the sales team to deliver an unparalleled customer experience, achieve monthly sales goals, and ensure operational excellence. Responsibilities include coaching shop associates, maintaining knowledge of club and Shop services/products, enforcing loss prevention and inventory policies, assisting with hiring/training/scheduling, maintaining brand standards and merchandising, housekeeping and organization on the sales floor, and building relationships across departments. Key skills include leadership, customer service, communication, time management, problem solving, and adaptability to varying schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership ability
- Experience in a customer service business; preferably in retail
- Hardworking and diligent
- Honesty and personal integrity
- Excellent time management, organizational, problem solving and communication skills
- Be available to work a varied schedule, based on the needs of our unique retail business
- Be a member of the Equinox team
