Job Summary
Provide outstanding customer service, build relationships with customers, and process loans and extensions while making deals for pawn items. Supervise and coach store Team Members, perform opening and closing store procedures, and come to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned. Maintain a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that sets EZPAWN apart from the competition. Complete the initial 5-week paid training program to earn a raise and transition to Lead Pawnbroker, with a path to Assistant Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager experience
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Ability to read and manage customer needs
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent judgment
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build solid ongoing customer relationships
- Engaging personality
- Solid leadership
- Strong negotiation talents
- Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics
