Job Summary
Supervise daily store operations and facilitate management duties when the Store Manager is absent. Provide direction to associates, resolve customer service issues, and model exemplary conduct while ensuring health, safety, and security regulations are upheld. Monitor staffing levels, drive sales targets and KPIs, and manage inventory processes on shift. Handle customer complaints and escalate as necessary to maintain standards. This part-time role requires SellSafe certification, high school education, and two years of retail experience, with availability for nights, holidays, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid SellSafe Certification
- Completion of high school and college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
- Demonstrated sales and service orientation
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in the retail industry
- Cannabis industry preferred
- Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
- Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff
- Skills to monitor and lead by example
- Basic office administration skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite
- Highly effective teamwork skills
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy
- Excellent teamwork and team-building skills
- Thorough understanding of applicable health and safety legislation
- A professional, responsive, and positive work attitude
- Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations
- Valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
