Job Summary
Supervise daily store operations and facilitate management duties during the Store Manager's absence. Oversee store associates, provide direction, and model exemplary customer service conduct while resolving service issues and handling complaints. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security regulations, and monitor staffing levels and inventory processes to meet sales targets and KPIs. Maintain store conditions and policies, assisting in training and motivating staff to pursue sales goals. Work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid CannSell to work in a retail cannabis store
- Must have or be able to successfully complete a Police Background Check
- Demonstrated sales and service orientation
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in the retail industry
- Cannabis industry preferred
- Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
- Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff
- Skills to monitor and lead by example
- Basic office administration skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite
- Highly effective teamwork skills
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy
- Excellent teamwork and team-building skills
- Thorough understanding of applicable health and safety legislation
- A professional, responsive, and positive work attitude
- Ability to work any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday
- Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different location
Desired Qualifications
- A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
