Job Summary
Supervise daily store operations, oversee Store Manager duties during absence, and model exemplary customer service conduct. Provide direction to associates, resolve service issues, and ensure adherence to health, safety, and security regulations. Manage inventory processes, monitor sales targets and KPIs, and handle escalated customer complaints. Maintain staffing levels and enforce company policies and legislation. Requires valid SellSafe certification, high school education, and 2+ years retail experience. Part-time, permanent role with flexible scheduling including nights, holidays, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid SellSafe Certification
- Completion of high school and college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
- Demonstrated sales and service orientation
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in the retail industry
- Cannabis industry preferred
- Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
- Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff
- Skills to monitor and lead by example
- Basic office administration skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite
- Highly effective teamwork skills
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy
- Excellent teamwork and team-building skills
- Thorough understanding of applicable health and safety legislation
- A professional, responsive, and positive work attitude
- Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations
Desired Qualifications
- A valid First Aid certification
