Job Summary
The Retail Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, and maintaining store procedures in compliance with applicable laws. Key responsibilities include monitoring transactions, training new staff, managing inventory, and ensuring the store's physical condition is safe and healthy. Candidates require a high school diploma or GED, two years of experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and must demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to handle merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of verifiable related employment experience or a combination of education and verifiable related employment experience
- Working knowledge of computers including experience in Windows and software like Word, Excel
- Ability to operate and use all necessary equipment and register systems for store operation
- Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to read, count, and write to complete documentation accurately
- Valid state driver’s license
Additional Requirements
- Internal Promotion must have completed 90-day probational period
- Must work as Retail Shift Leader (1) for 9 months and be certified in all positional requirements
- Must pass interview and have a positional slot available to move to Retail Shift Leader (2)
