Job Summary
Count the bank and balance the safe, receive and process new merchandise, and maintain orderly presentation of retail inventory. Replenish stock throughout the convenience store, follow opening and closing procedures, and monitor operational issues to report to the Retail Manager. Assist and direct Team Members with assignments while providing excellent customer service to guests and internal clients. Comply with all applicable ACF System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures, and Tribal Regulations. Requires a high school diploma, one year of guest service experience, and the ability to stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in coolers below 40 degrees.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 1 year guest service experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work with other departments and have excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Must be able to stand, move and work throughout the convenience store, offices, and various areas of the properties, including walking up to 1 1⁄2 mile, climbing stairs, lifting, and stocking
- Must be able to work in a cooler that is below 40 degrees
- Must be able to work with various levels of noise in the work environment which is usually moderate
- Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis
- sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone
