Job Summary
Retail Service Specialist greets members by phone and in person, determines the nature of service required, and provides or directs to appropriate areas. In locations offering DMV license services, processes transactions and resolves routine problems per Club standards. Responsibilities include preparing TripTiks, providing maps and travel materials, assisting with hotel and car reservations, promoting and selling AAA memberships, processing payments and renewals, issuing passport photos/IDPs, handling Travel Money transactions, notary services, cross-selling products, and cash handling with daily deposits. Notable duties also include notary licensing within the NNA and recognizing opportunities to upsell higher-value memberships and related products.
Required Qualifications
- High School GED Required
- 1-3 years Branch Specialist 1 and/or 2 or related experience Required
- Basic computer literacy and data input skills
- Ability to operate basic office equipment and perform basic accounting duties
- Ability to work quickly and handle multiple tasks or assignments on a daily basis
- Prior experience using State DMV licensing system.
- As required, obtains and maintains valid notary license
- Notary Public - National Notary Association within 1 Year Preferred
