Job Summary
Conduct regularly scheduled store visits to ensure inline General Merchandise categories are well stocked and maintained. Place and maintain promotional displays, complete resets, and stock merchandise while keeping sections blocked and free of debris. Tag and price products for compliance, reorder items, and manage back stock to ensure product is worked to shelf. Prepare and complete weekly service reports via tablet and maintain planogram compliance at the shelf. Build relationships with store managers and employees while solving problems on the go. Travel to locations in Maine including Bath, Sanford, Saco, and others as needed. Work a daytime schedule of 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Your Own/Reliable Transportation
- Ability to read and write short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Schedule: 15-20 hrs/week (Day Shift Flexible between Monday-Friday)
- Required to travel to following locations in Maine based on business needs: Bath, Sanford, Saco, Wiscasset, Rockland, Auburn, Brunswick, Augusta, Lewiston, Freeport, Windham
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising
- Knowledge of product and/or experience with merchandising general merchandise or health and beauty care products
- Basic computer skills – requiring able to use a log in and password and follow simple instructions
