Job Summary
Greet customers, engage in personal conversations to build relationships, and guide them through a seamless shopping journey while actively circulating the sales floor. Maintain merchandise standards by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, and supporting necessary merchandise moves. Share loyalty program benefits, acquire new customers by opening credit accounts, and ensure the shopping space remains clean, organized, and inviting. Finish strong by ending interactions with sincere thank-yous and walking packages around customers. Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week, with all schedules including weekend shifts. This role supports Macy's Women's Clothing at Barton Creek Square Mall.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues

- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information
- Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities
