Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail as described in post orders, control entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, patrol buildings and perimeters, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and perform special assignments. Maintain a professional image with customers, visitors, and employees; greet in a polite, friendly manner; stay current on post orders and information from the customer and AFS; monitor cameras/equipment; report incidents with Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports; contribute to loss prevention and safety improvements; possess knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, elevators, and access doors; ensure training/compliance with regulations; communicate issues daily with Security Supervisor. Skills include strong customer service, vigilance, teamwork, urgency, and clear oral/written communications.
