Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Officer responsible for security detail as described in post orders, controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments. Maintain a professional image with excellent customer service, greet customers/visitors/employees, monitor activities, stay current with post orders, report suspicious activity, investigate incidents, monitor cameras/equipment, know emergency policies and procedures, complete Daily Activity Reports/Incident Reports, and communicate with the Security Supervisor about new issues. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and related equipment to ensure safe operation of elevators and access doors; comply with training and applicable regulations and contribute to loss-prevention improvements. Duties may vary by post; adaptability and accuracy in reporting are expected.
