Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail as described by post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service while performing entrances/traffic control, patrols of buildings and perimeters, escort of materials/personnel, inspection of security and fire exposures, and other special assignments. Duties may vary by post; be punctual, greet customers politely, stay updated on post orders, report suspicious activity and incidents, monitor cameras/equipment, know emergency procedures, complete required reports, and contribute to safety and loss-prevention improvements. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and elevator/access-door operation is preferred. Ability to work with a sense of urgency, follow directions, and communicate effectively with the Security Supervisor is required.
