Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail as outlined in the post orders, establishing relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. Maintain professional image and high-level customer service while patrolling buildings and perimeters, controlling entrances and movement, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments. Be on time in full uniform, greet customers politely, stay informed on post orders, monitor cameras, report incidents and complete daily activity and log reports, and propose improvements to safety and loss prevention processes. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and related equipment; ensure operation of elevators and access doors; coordinate with Security Supervisor on issues. Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, urgency, and adaptability are essential.
