Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail at client sites per post orders, including control of entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrol of buildings and perimeters, escort of material and personnel, inspection of security and fire exposures, and completion of daily reports. Must maintain a professional image, deliver excellent customer service, stay aware of surroundings, monitor cameras/equipment, know emergency procedures, and communicate security issues to supervisors. Duties may vary by post, and duties include reporting, recommendations for safety and loss-prevention improvements, and ensuring life safety systems and access controls operate correctly. Strong observation, vigilance, teamwork, and clear written and verbal communications are required.
