Retail Security Officer

Job Summary
Provide security detail per post orders, establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments, and maintain a professional image while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include controlling entrances and pedestrian/vehicular traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain awareness of surroundings, monitor cameras and equipment, stay updated on post orders, report any suspicious activity or incidents, and complete Daily Activity Reports, Log Books, and Incident Reports. Communicate with Security Supervisor regarding new issues or changes, and support training and compliance guidelines. Demonstrates vigilance, teamwork, urgency, and strong communication skills to support loss prevention and safety across varied post assignments.
