Job Summary
Provide security detail according to post orders, including control of entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrol of buildings and perimeters, escort of material and personnel, and inspection of security and fire exposures. Maintain a professional image with polite, friendly customer service; greet customers and employees; stay current with post orders; monitor cameras and respond to alarms/incidents; complete Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports and logs; communicate security issues to the Security Supervisor; know life safety systems and related equipment to ensure safe operation of elevators and access doors; participate in ongoing safety and loss-prevention improvements; duties may vary by post and location; adapt to ADA accommodations as needed. Skills include vigilance, teamwork, clear communication, urgency, and the ability to follow directions and maintain an organized, proactive security presence.
