Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail as described in post orders, including controlling entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain a professional image with courteous customer service, be proactive in knowing post orders, monitor cameras and emergency procedures, complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident/Log Book entries, and contribute to safety and loss prevention by identifying risks and reporting suspicious activity. Ensure familiarity with life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and access controls, and comply with training and regulatory requirements while communicating issues to Security Supervisor.
