Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service while patrolling entrances and perimeters, controlling pedestrian and vehicle traffic, escorting materials/personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments. Maintain knowledge of post orders, emergency procedures, life safety systems and CCTV, report daily activity and incident reports, and communicate issues to Security Supervisor. Duties vary by post; ensure compliance with training and safety guidelines; uphold loss prevention and safety processes; be punctual, polite, and proactive in observing and reporting suspicious activity and incidents.
