Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service while controlling entrances and movement of traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments. Duties may include staying updated with post orders, greeting customers/visitors/employees, monitoring cameras, reporting incidents and emergencies, completing Daily Activity Reports and other relevant logs, and ensuring knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and elevator/access-door operation. Communicate any security issues to the Security Supervisor and contribute to safety and loss prevention improvements. Ability to work as part of a team with a sense of urgency and adaptability to varying post assignments and ADA accommodations as needed.
