Retail Security Officer

Job Summary
Provide security detail per post orders, establishing relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Patrol buildings and perimeters, control entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, escort materials and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and handle special assignments. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service while monitoring CCTV and responding to alarms; complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, report suspicious activity, and communicate security issues to the Security Supervisor. Knowledge of life safety systems and emergency procedures, and the ability to coordinate with customers and management to improve safety and loss prevention.
