Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Officer responsible for security detail per post orders, controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintains a professional image and delivers strong customer service while staying vigilant and reporting activity, monitoring cameras, understanding emergency policies, completing daily activity, and providing recommendations for safety and loss prevention. Will be proactive in knowing post orders and information distributed by the customer, communicate with Security Supervisor, and adapt duties based on post assignments. Familiarity with life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and safe operation of elevators and access doors is expected, along with compliance training as required by the customer and governing agencies.
