Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Patrol buildings and perimeters, control entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and carry out special assignments as directed. Maintain a professional image and strong customer service, greet customers and visitors, stay informed of post orders, monitor cameras, report incidents and complete required reports, and coordinate with Security Supervisor on security issues. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, elevators and access doors, and adherence to training and compliance guidelines are expected.
