Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail as per post orders; establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments; maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service. Duties include controlling entrances and pedestrian/vehicle traffic, patrolling buildings/perimeters, escorting material/personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain knowledge of life safety systems and emergency procedures; complete Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and logs; report security issues to the Security Supervisor; be on time and in full uniform; demonstrate vigilance, teamwork, and strong communication while supporting loss-prevention processes.
