Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Patrol of buildings and perimeters; control entrances and movement of traffic; escort material and personnel; inspect security and fire exposures; complete required reports (Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports) and maintain professional image with strong customer service. Maintain knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, access controls, and emergency procedures; communicate security issues to the Security Supervisor; adapt to post-specific duties and location requirements; be vigilant, proactive, and collaborative to ensure safety and loss prevention. Duties emphasize patrol, reporting, and adherence to post orders with a focus on customer service and safety.
