Job Summary
Provide security detail per post orders and establish professional relationships with customers and local authorities. Patrol buildings and perimeters, control entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, escort materials and personnel, and inspect security and fire exposures. Maintain a professional image, deliver excellent customer service, and stay current with post orders. Monitor surveillance equipment, respond to alarms and emergencies, complete required reports, and contribute to safety and loss-prevention processes. Adapt to varying post assignments, communicate issues daily, and collaborate with the Security team to uphold safety and security standards.
Required Qualifications
- Be on time and report to post in full uniform
- Maintain professional image and greeting skills
- Be proactive in revisions to post orders and information from customer and AFS
- Patrol property or fixed post position
- Report suspicious activity and investigate incidents
- Monitor cameras or equipment per post orders
- Possess knowledge of life safety systems and fire panels
- Complete Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and relevant documentation
- Communicate security issues to Security Supervisor
