Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Officer responsible for controlling entrances and movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, and inspecting security and fire exposures. Maintain professional image and provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, visitors and employees. Stay aware of post orders, know emergency procedures, monitor cameras/equipment, complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and support loss prevention measures. Be proactive in learning revisions to post orders, communicate issues to Security Supervisor, and adapt duties based on post assignments. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and operating elevators and access doors is preferred; the role may require ADA accommodations and coordination with customers. Duties emphasize vigilance, teamwork, urgency, and adherence to company policies while remaining flexible to post-specific requirements.
