Job Summary
Retail Security Officer responsible for protecting property and people at Cedars, PA. Perform entrances control, pedestrian/vehicle movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials/personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and completing required reports. Maintain professional image, greet customers, stay vigilant of post orders, stay current on updates, monitor surveillance equipment, and communicate security issues to the Security Supervisor. Requires strong customer service, alertness, teamwork, and the ability to respond to emergencies per post orders.
Required Qualifications
- Security officer duties as outlined in post orders
- Be on time and in full uniform
- Patrol property or maintain fixed post
- Monitor cameras and emergency procedures
- Complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
- Knowledge of life safety systems and equipment
- Maintain professional image and customer service
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
