Retail Security Officer

Job Summary
Provide security detail per post orders, including control of entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrol of buildings and perimeters, escort of material and personnel, and monitoring of security systems. Maintain a professional image with customers, visitors, and employees; respond to alarms and emergencies; complete Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and other required documentation; and communicate security issues to the Security Supervisor. Be vigilant, customer-service oriented, and able to work as part of a team, following post orders and life-safety procedures. Knowledge of life safety systems and relevant equipment (e.g., CCTV, fire panels, access control) and adherence to post orders and company policies are expected. Duties may vary by post and location, with opportunities to contribute to loss-prevention and safety improvements.
Required Qualifications
