Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders, establish professional relations with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments; control entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicle traffic; patrol buildings and perimeters; escort materials and personnel; inspect security and fire exposures; perform special assignments per post orders; greet customers and employees in a polite, friendly manner; monitor cameras and emergency procedures; complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports; report security issues to the Security Supervisor and assist with loss prevention processes as identified in daily routines; ensure familiarity with life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV and related equipment; maintain reliable operation of elevators and access doors; participate in training and compliance as required by the customer and governing agencies; adapt to varying post assignments and locations as needed.
